The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and Louisville Police Department use Everbridge to notify residents about emergencies, such as imminent threats to health and safety. This can include the need to evacuate due to wildfire, or to take other appropriate actions due to flash flood or other critical police activity.

Alerts can be received by cell, home and work phones, and by text message and/or email. If you don’t sign up, you will only receive an emergency notification on your traditional landline home phone (if you have one). These notifications can take longer depending on call volume.

You can sign up for cell phone and email alerts and edit your profile to add an address for your home, place of work, schools, etc., so you can receive alerts for a variety of locations that may have importance to you.

The After Action Report (AAR) represents lessons learned and action steps for emergency responders and responding agencies/jurisdictions regarding the operational response to make continual improvements for future incidents. The City of Louisville and Louisville Fire District were among the multiple jurisdictions involved in the Marshall Fire response and participated in the development of the AAR along with the Boulder Office of Emergency Management, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office and other partner agencies.
