The City of Louisville adheres to all of the Open Government rules and the City's Code of Ethics established in the Home Rule Charter and the State of Colorado.

It is the policy of the City that the activities of City government should be conducted in public to the greatest extent feasible in order to assure public participation and enhance public accountability.

It is declared to be a matter of statewide concern and the policy of this state that the formation of public policy is public business and may not be conducted in secret.

Colorado Open Meetings Law 

The City Council and all boards and commissions adhere to the City's Open Government rules and the Code of EthicsAny person who believes a member of one of the City’s public bodies has violated any of the ethics provisions and wishes to initiate proceedings on such alleged violations may do so by filing a written complaint and filing it with the City Clerk. 

Open Government - All of the City's open government rules are included in the annual Open Government and Ethics Pamphlet.

Code of Ethics- The Code of Ethics establishes rules and expectations for public officials.

Public Record Request Procedures and Fees

Public Participation and Involvement Policy - Public participation is an essential element of the City’s representative form of government. To promote effective public participation the City Council adopted the Public Involvement Policy.
