Section 6.24 of the Louisville Municipal Code sets forth regulations pertaining to beekeeping.  Pursuant to Section 6.24.080, all beehives in the city must be registered.

To register, please submit the Beehive Registration Form (see below) via email or drop it off at City Hall (749 Main St, Louisville, CO). There is no fee associated with this registration.

Information for Completing the Form

To enable the digital signature option, the form must be downloaded to your desktop and opened with a full .pdf reader program.

To sign the document, click in the signature box. From the drop down menu for "Sign As," choose the type of id you would like to use to sign. 

If you do not have a digital id, select "New Id," then select "A new digital id I want to create now."  Then select "New PKCS#12 digital id file". 

Click "Next" and fill in your name and email address.

Select "Next" and then create 6 character passcode. You will then be prompted to enter your passcode and save the document.  

You may also print the form, sign it, scan it, and email it to Planning.
