ALL NEW OR TRANSFER LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATIONS REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT FOR SUBMITTAL.

Special Event Liquor Permits are for the following nonprofit entities only:

• Social Organization
• Fraternal Organization
• Patriotic Organization
• Political Organization
• Athletic Organization
• Chartered Branch, Lodge or Chapter
• National Organization or Society
• Religious Institution
• Philanthropic Institution
• Political Candidate
• Municipal Owned Arts Facility

The Special Events Liquor Permit application, and all attachments, must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the event. 

Payment of the application fee and permit may be made via check (payable to City of Louisville) or by calling 303.335.4574 to pay via debit/credit card.

Festival Permits are for CURRENT liquor license holders which are conducting a joint event to sell liquor to the general public. 

A City of Louisville Festival Permit Application must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office, along with all required attachments, at least 60 days prior to the event.

The City of Louisville Festival Permit Application fee of $150.00 may be paid via check (payable to City of Louisville) or by calling 303.335.4574 to pay via credit/debit card.

Beginning March 1, 2023 the following entities may conduct tastings with approval of the Local Licensing Authority:

• Retail Liquor Stores
• Fermented Malt Beverage and Wine Retailers

This approval is valid for one (1) year and application must be made annually.

The State of Colorado does NOT accept online Responsible Vendor Training.
Training must be done either in a "classroom" setting or via "live stream" where the student(s) and instructor have live interaction.
