Thank you to everyone who took part in the City's Name Our Snowplows Contest! We received 247 entries from creative kids across Louisville and then our Operations Team, who drive the snowplows, voted on their favorites.
 
Winners ranged in age from 4 to 11 years old and included classes from Coal Creek Elementary and Louisville Elementary. Our Operations Team had a great time reviewing the entries and we are so grateful to everyone who took part.

Contest Rules

Winners will receive a certificate and a winter-themed book. The contest closes November 10, 2021.

  •  Contest is open to children age 2-12, who meet one of the following requirements:
    • Resident of Louisville OR
    • Louisville Library Cardholders OR
    • Parent or guardian are Louisville Library Cardholders.
    • *Teachers of Louisville daycare, preschool and/or school classes whose students meet the age requirement may submit an entry on behalf of their class.

  • You can enter as many times as you like.

  • It is free to enter the contest.

  • Contest winners will receive an age-appropriate winter themed book from the City of Louisville and a certificate. Winners will be given the opportunity to participate in a photo.

  • By entering the contest, contest entrant’s parent or guardian consent to contest entrant’s name, contest submission and/or photo being used in City communications.

  • The name(s) submitted in this contest will become property of the City.

  • By completing the online form below, you agree to the terms and conditions of the contest as set forth on this page.
