The City of Louisville invites you to walk, run, or ride 1-mile, 5-kilometer, or 10-kilometer loops on the Louisville Trail System with our fun new route map, “Loops in Louisville.”

The City offers more than 32 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, running, biking, dog walking, commuting, or a leisurely stroll. These trails meander through parks, neighborhoods, and 12 natural open space properties within the City while also providing a link to neighboring communities.

To help residents and visitors explore this extensive trail system, Open Space Staff have put together "Loops in Louisville", a compilation of some of our favorite trail connections. The routes are organized into 1-mile, 5-k, and 10-k categories and are rated as easy, moderate, or difficult based on length and elevation changes. "Loops in Louisville" is a fun, free way to be active and enjoy the outdoors.

Regardless of your age, fitness level, or ability—trails are for everyone.

Make sure you know how to share the trails by viewing our Trail Etiquette Guide.
