The City of Louisville requires the licensing of all dogs within its jurisdiction. For specific information, you may refer to the Louisville Municipal Code, Chapter 6.02 through 6.12.

To obtain a Louisville dog license and tag, please complete the on-line license application.

• Submit payment:
  • Check or money order (made payable to City of Louisville) - please mail / deliver to the address below.
  • Credit/debit card payments -please call 303.335.4573 or 303.335.4574 to make a payment over the phone.
    
    
• The following rates are effective for 2024 licenses and are per dog:
  • $14.00 – Neutered Males or Spayed Females
  • $20.00 – Intact Females and Males (not spayed or neutered)
