City of Louisville, CO
Home MenuCultural Advisory Board
The Cultural Advisory Board has seven members that are appointed by City Council. Members serve three-year terms.
The Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in City Hall (749 Main Street). Meeting agendas are posted in advance in the foyer of City Hall, at the Library, at the Police Department/ Municipal Court Building, and at the Recreation Center. You can view the agenda and meeting packet on the website as well.
The Board has gone through many changes in name and structure over the years. When the board was founded in 1989, it was known as the Louisville Arts and Humanities Council. The board later changed its name to the Louisville Cultural Council ("LCC"). The Board operated for many years as an independent nonprofit before voting to dissolve their nonprofit status and become a City advisory board.
The board's programs and events are fully funded by the City of Louisville.
