2025 Board and Commission Vacancies
Are you interested in volunteering for your community and bringing your point of view to help the City form policy? The City Council is looking for residents to serve on various boards and commissions. In particular they are looking for a wide variety of viewpoints that represent all aspects of the community. Becoming a member of a board or commission is an excellent way to become active in city government and offers citizens an opportunity to provide their expertise in areas of individual interest.
Not sure which one to apply to? Join us October 23, 6:00 - 7:00 pm (City Hall) for an open house to learn more about the various boards and commissions.
The following positions are available for 2025:
- Board of Adjustment (3 positions)
- Building Code board of Appeals (3 positions)
- Cultural Advisory Board (3 positions)
- Historic Preservation Commission (2 positions)
- Historical Musuem Advisory Board (2 positions)
- Library Board of Trustees (2 positions)
- Local Licensing Authority (3 positions)
- Open Space Advisory Board (4 positions)
- Parks & Public Landscaping Advisory Board (3 positions)
- Recreation Advisory Board (2 positions)
- Revitalization Commission (1 position)
- Sustainability Advisory Board (1 position)
