October 1, 2024 - Wildfire Ready Giveaway 2024

Is your property wildfire ready? We want to see what you've done to protect your home against wildfires! Join our Wildfire Ready Giveaway to show off what you've done for wildfire mitigation and be entered to win a prize!

Wildfire mitigation actions are on-the-ground actions taken to reduce the chance of a wildfire causing damage. We encourage you to be prepared by learning about wildfire mitigation practices, such as creating defensible space around homes, developing emergency plans, and signing up for emergency alerts.

Giveaway Details

Accepting entries: September 24 - November 1, 2024

Winner chosen: Once you've submitted, you will be entered into a random drawing to win a preparedness basket.

Giveaway items - the randomly selected winner will be given a preparedness basket that includes (but is not limited to): an Amazon gift card, reusable pet bowl, seatbelt cutter, smoke alarm, solar-powered battery pack, and more!

Who can enter: Anyone in the City of Louisville or the Louisville Fire Protection District

June 24, 2024 - Wildfire Partners offers a rebate program for home hardening and defensible space mitigation!  The rebate program is open to all residents who own or rent a home in Boulder County including within the City of Boulder and all municipalities.

For 2024, the following wildfire mitigation actions are eligible for the rebate:

• Junk Your Junipers

• Fences Are Fuses (five feet of fencing attached to a home)

• The First Five Feet (first five feet of landscaping around a home)

• Screening or Replacing Vents
