LGBTQ+ History of Boulder County with Glenda Russell

Come join us for a fascinating journey through the LGBTQ+ History of Boulder County with Glenda Russell!

Boulder County has been the site of major moments in the history of LGBTQ+ rights in the US.  Some of these events have been local but also colorful and creative. Other local events have had far-reaching impacts, having literally changed the national picture for LGBTQ+ people and their rights. Come see a timeline of LGBTQ+ history in Boulder and hear some amazing stories that you’ll want to tell your friends about!

About the speaker: Glenda Russell is a psychologist by training and an LGBTQ+ community historian because it’s so interesting. She has conducted extensive research about queer history in Boulder and beyond. 

This is a free, in-person event. Registration is suggested, and will open May 15.
