An Evening with Local Author Vauhini Vara

Join us for an evening with Colorado author Vauhini Vara whose book "The Immortal King Rao" was a 2023 Pulitzer Prize finalist. Vara has written and edited for The AtlanticThe New Yorker, and The New York Times Magazine. Her latest book, "This is Salvaged," is a collection of short stories and was named a most anticipated book of the year by Literary HubElectric Literature, and The Millions.

Publishers Weekly boasts: "Vara invigorates with emotional insights, whimsy, and a precision with language. It's a remarkable achievement."
