Dark Skies Matter

Seeing the stars in a clear night sky is an awesome experience, but there are other reasons to help protect the night as well, including wildlife protection and human health. Learn more about the importance of dark skies, and discover simple measures you can do to help keep our Colorado skies dark.

Deborah Price is an environmental educator and on the board for DarkSky Colorado. She formerly worked for Boulder County Parks & Open Space, providing natural history and astronomy programs.
