Join us for an evening with local author and classical violinist Natalie Hodges as she discusses her debut "Uncommon Measure: A Journey Through Music, Performance, and the Science of Time". Hodges' biography has been named to the National Book Award Longlist, is an NPR Best Book of the Year selection and a NY Times Editors Choice selection. Kirkus Reviews calls Uncommon Measure 'masterful', her 'writing is deeply intelligent and exquisitely personal, expertly balancing emotional vulnerability with trenchant analysis, and her lyrical prose and clarity of thought render each page a pleasure to read.'
