How to be a Musician

Teens Grades 6-12

Being a professional musician is both challenging and rewarding. Although practice-practice-practice is a useful mantra, sometimes the most technically proficient musicians aren't the most successful. Understanding the landscape of the music business, as well as market forces that impact individuals, is crucial in succeeding in the music business. Come learn what it takes from local musician Michael John McKee. This workshop will involve chatting, performing, and participants will be able to perform too. Feel free to bring a portable, acoustic-level instrument if you’d like to be included!

Registration is required.

If you register, please attend. If you're unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so as many people as possible get to enjoy our free activities.
