Join us for this monthly program, where we'll meet local entrepreneurs, artists, activists, and everyday heroes! This inclusive program showcases our diverse community and introduces children and families to people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

This month, we will meet Renee. ""Hi, I'm Renee Gurganus. I am a Physics and Astronomy instructor at CU Boulder. During my graduate education, I researched the paleomagnetism of 1 billion year old basalt formations in the Keweenaw Peninsula, as they related to the Mid-Continental Rift. Currently, my focus is on revamping physics curricula to make courses more accessible to a wider student audience. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks with my husband and son, reading, and crocheting."
