Silhouette Project - Newcomers

  • Introduction: Photos and stories from adolescent and young adult newcomers, immigrants, and refugees are displayed in this one-day art exhibit

Newcomers is the fourth incarnation of The Silhouette Project - a photographic series that illuminates the shadow voice of adolescent and young adult refugees, shining a light on marginalized communities too often hidden from mainstream society. Artist Dona Laurita combines the newcomers' words and stories are combined with photographs in this powerful exhibit.
