People in My Community

All ages/families

Join us for this monthly program, where we’ll meet local entrepreneurs, artists, activists, and everyday heroes! This inclusive program showcases our diverse community and introduces children and families to people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

This month we will meet Minister Glenda Strong Robinson. Minister Robinson is a mother, grandmother, and community activist who marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and others in the 1968 I Am A Man March as well as in the April 8, 1968, MLK, Jr. Memorial March in Memphis, Tennessee. She serves as Associate Minister and Historian at  Second Baptist Church, Boulder. Minister Robinson is passionate about keeping Dr. King's dream alive and moving forward in the fight for Social Justice.

Registration is required. If you register, please attend. If you're unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so as many people as possible get to enjoy our free activities.
