2023 PROPERTY VALUES, TAXES, AND TAX REMEDIES FOR OLDER ADULTS

On May 1, 2023 the Assessor’s Office will mail out updated property values. As we all are aware the real estate market has been strong, with low sales inventory and high sales prices. This presentation will explain how property values for taxation are arrived at and discuss the impact of the market on your 2023 value. We will also discuss the how and when of tax remedies for Older Adults and the impact of value and the Senior Tax Exemption on your tax bill.
