First Day to Schedule AARP Tax-Aide Appointments

  • Date: 01/09/2023  (all day)

AARP Tax-Aide will again provide free tax return preparation and electronic filing for taxpayers of all ages with low to moderate income, with special attention to those 60 years and older.

Final procedures will be determined with reference to all safety protocols established by the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center and AARP.

If safety protocols in place as of February 2023 allow, we will resume in person tax preparation. To minimize time spent on site, Taxpayers are encouraged to pick up and fill out the required intake sheet in advance and be sure to bring all documents required for preparation of their return. Taxpayers will arrive for their scheduled appointment and meet with a counselor. A paper copy of the completed return will be given to the taxpayer, and the Federal and Colorado returns will be filed electronically by AARP Tax-Aide.
