Isolated and institutionalized for most of her life due to Down Syndrome and deafness, this inspirational and renowned artist began making incredible sculptures out of thread, yarn, fabric, and found objects in her 40s. Her art expressed both her imagination and her emotions in ways she could not convey through speech. Come learn more about her and make your own unique fiber sculpture.
