Story in the Rocks - The Geologic History of Boulder County

An in-person informational presentation hosted by Boulder County Parks & Open Space. Perfect for Adults & Teens ages 12 and up.

The geologic history of Boulder County’s remarkable landscape goes back nearly two billion years! Rocks contain a record of earth’s history that can be read like the pages in a book. Join volunteer naturalists for this slide program and learn how to read this fascinating story in the rocks. 

Registration is required. If you register, please attend. If you're unable to attend, please cancel your reservation so as many people as possible get to enjoy our free activities.
