Energy Code Lunch and Learn

The City of Louisville has adopted the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code that goes into effect November 23, 2021. Join the Q&A to ask questions and get updated on new requirements.

The City of Louisville has adopted the 2021 International Energy Conservation Code with amendments that goes into effect November 23, 2021. Any permits submitted on this day or after will be subject to these new energy code regulations including Appendix RC. This appendix requires all new homes to be zero energy buildings and have renewable power production.

On November 30, 2021, the Building Department will be hosting an energy code Q&A where lunch will be provided. It will be come and go from 12:30-2:30pm at City Hall. Please note that masks will be required to attend.
