Celebrate Summer and being back at the Library at this literacy-themed event!

Join us for games, a story walk, fun photo opportunities, and activities for everyone. Sing, shake, and shimmy with Kids House of Joy musical shows every half hour.*  This family band goes on a wild journey into 8 countries with 10 instruments and your vivid imagination by their side.  The audience will discover the diversity of music from around the world through European Classical, Broadway, Folk and Bluegrass, Standards, and Childrens’ Music.  Visit here for video & more info on Joy & Beth- http://kaleidoscopemusicstudio.com/house-of-joy.

Celebrate Summer runs from 10 am – 12 pm.  The Library opens at 11 am.

Registration for seating in the Steinbaugh Pavilion during the shows is required. If registration is full, come anyway and enjoy listening to the music with outdoor games and activities, a story walk, and visiting with some of your favorite story book animals.

This in-person Library Summer Reading Program will be located at the Steinbaugh Pavilion, 824 Front Street. Participants do not have to check-in at the Library. Please use caution when crossing Front Street.

Mask wearing is recommended if social distancing (6 feet) cannot be maintained. Please practice kindness and patience as we all navigate this transition period.
