Join us for this interactive Zoom workshop:

“Roots of Injustice, Seeds of Change: Toward Right Relationship with Native Peoples”

Date:  Saturday, October 24, 3-5pm via Zoom (Registration Link for 10/24 Workshop)

Appropriate for high school students and adults.

In this 2-hour Zoom workshop, we'll LEARN the history of our country through the experience of the Indigenous nations, REFLECT on what this history means in our community today, and ENVISION relationships with Native peoples based on truth, respect, and justice. Co-facilitators Jerilyn DeCoteau (Turtle Mountain Chippewa) and Paula Palmer will guide participants through a series of filmed presentations, experiential exercises, and group discussions. The experience is appropriate for high school students and adults.

This free workshop is presented by Toward Right Relationship with Native Peoples with support from the Louisville Cultural Council's Art Grant Program.

This is an incredibly powerful experience … a tool with the power to engage the hearts and minds of a community in the work of acknowledging our history in order to begin to imagine a new way forward.  —Rev. Nikira Hernandez-Evans (Paiute)
