“Roots of Injustice, Seeds of Change: Toward Right Relationship with Native Peoples”

Appropriate for high school students and adults.
In this 2-hour Zoom workshop, we'll LEARN the history of our country through the experience of the Indigenous nations, REFLECT on what this history means in our community today, and ENVISION relationships with Native peoples based on truth, respect, and justice. Co-facilitators Jerilyn DeCoteau (Turtle Mountain Chippewa) and Paula Palmer will guide participants through a series of filmed presentations, experiential exercises, and group discussions. The experience is appropriate for high school students and adults.
This free workshop is presented by Toward Right Relationship with Native Peoples with support from the Louisville Cultural Council's Art Grant Program.
