Learn to Navigate - Open Space Education Program

Learn to Navigate

When:  Thursday, November 21st from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Where: Louisville Library Meeting Room, 1st floor (951 Spruce St.)

Appropriate Audience:  Ages 12 and up

Description: A fun venture into the backcountry can quickly become a nightmare if a hiker becomes lost. Outdoor navigation skills are vital for any trip; Today’s technology and GPS units use advanced technology to assist in navigation, but can fail in the backcountry. Join a Ranger Naturalist and learn some wilderness navigation techniques to re-orient yourself and get home safely in the event that you become lost.
