Mountain Lions - Open Space Education Program

Mountain Lions

When: Thursday, September 26th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Where: Louisville Library Meeting Room, 1st floor (951 Spruce St.)

Appropriate Audience:  Adults

Description: Mountain lions tend to live in remote, primitive country with plentiful deer and adequate cover. Such conditions exist in mountain subdivisions, urban fringes, and open spaces. Recently, the number of mountain lion/human interactions has increased due to urban sprawl into their habitat. Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife District Wildlife Manager, Peter Boyatt, and learn about the ecology of this generally calm, quiet, and elusive creature!

Please RSVP through Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com/o/city-of-louisville-open-space-division-17282762368 or by visiting our Facebook page “Fans of Louisville Open Space and Parks” and click on the event you wish to attend to obtain a free ticket.  You can also register by contacting staff at Openspace@LouisvilleCO.gov or 303-335-4770.
