Starting soon, dog waste from Davidson Mesa Off Lease Area (DOLA) and Community Park Dog Park will no longer be transported to landfills.  Instead, dog waste will be recycled and converted into potting soil.  

In order to participate in this program, it is important that dog waste be disposed of in compostable bags only.  The City now provides these compostable bags located in the newly installed dispensers.  

Receptacles will soon be added inside of DOLA and the Dog Park for disposal of dog waste only.  

This pilot program has been endorsed by your City’s Open Space Advisory Board and the Parks and Public Landscaping Advisory Board
