The Longmont Humane Society will bring heartwarming tales of animals that promote compassion and empathy towards our furry companions while teaching safe practices when interacting with furry friends.
Each child will receive their own copy of Love Me Gently ' A Kid's Guide for Man's Best Friend and together will explore the story of a boy and his rescue, educating about the needs of dogs and instilling the value of humane treatment towards animals. Children will have the opportunity to meet and pet a live dog.
