DVD for Sale

"Our Boys & Girls in the Armed Forces, 1943-1944"

This unique film was made by L.C. Graves and was generously donated to the Louisville Historical Commission. The film is in color and is approximately 90 minutes long. Also available is an alphabetical list (html or pdf) of people who have been identified on a film of World War II servicemen and women while they were home on leave in Louisville, Colorado.

Many of the servicemen and women are shown in front of their Louisville homes with their parents or with Main Street buildings as a background. Other local residents also appear in the film, such as in scenes showing Memorial Day parades.

The DVD of this film, “Our Boys and Girls in the Armed Forces, 1943-44,” is available for purchase for $10 at the Louisville Historical Museum, 1001 Main Street, Louisville Colorado. If ordering the DVD by mail, please:
