Membership Rates

Individual and Family Memberships

Individual and family memberships help to support the Louisville Historical Museum's mission in sharing and preserving the history of Louisville. Members receive the quarterly publication The Louisville Historian.

Membership rates are:

$20 per year - Individual
$35 per year - Family

Business Members

Business Members help preserve Louisville’s heritage and the vitality of downtown Louisville by supporting the Louisville Historical Museum's mission, activities, and outreach to residents and tourists.

Annual business membership is $125 and includes:

One subscription to The Louisville Historian (mailed to you quarterly)
Recognition in each issue of The Louisville Historian
Recognition in the Museum's monthly E-newsletter
Recognition on a "Thank You" sign at the Louisville Historical Museum
Recognition on "Junior Historian" certificates for school children who tour the Museum

Changes to Membership Payment and Monetary Donations in 2023

Starting on January 1, 2023, membership dues will go to the Louisville Historical Museum instead of to the Louisville History Foundation. This will make it possible for the Museum to more directly manage its memberships, similar to what other museums do.

Monetary and Memorial Donations

Monetary donations and Memorial donations can be made through the Louisville History Foundation. Visit the Donations page for more information. Please do not combine membership and donation payments; make separate transactions for each type of payment.

Update Your Address

If a Museum Member has changed their address or contact information for any reason, including being displaced by the Marshall Fire, please update your information using this form.
