Memorial Donations

Memorial donations to the Foundation are monetary donations specifically made in memory of someone who has died. Most often, the deceased had some connection to Louisville, but there is no requirement. The donations will be listed in the next issue of the Museum’s quarterly publication, The Louisville Historian, along with the birth year and death year of the deceased. In this way, people are able to honor and recognize deceased loved ones and to help inform others who may now live out of the area.

At times, family members identify the Foundation as the preferred charitable organization to receive donations in memory of their loved one. This is communicated through the loved one’s obituary. We are very appreciative of all memorial donations.

If you would like to make a memorial donation, please use one of the methods described above and include a notation stating that it is a memorial donation along with the name of the person in whose memory the donation is being made.
