Alphabetical Index to “Our Boys and Girls in the Armed Forces, 1943-44” Louisville, Colorado

The following is an alphabetical list of people who have been identified on a film of World War II servicemen and women while they were home on leave in Louisville, Colorado. Many of the servicemen and women are shown in front of their Louisville homes with their parents or with Main Street buildings in the background. Other local residents also appear in the film, such as in scenes showing Memorial Day parades.

This unique film was made by L.C. Graves and was generously donated to the Louisville Historical Commission. The film is in color and is approximately 90 minutes long. The names of the individuals in the film who have been identified are read by Louisville Historical Commission members Donald Ross and David Ferguson.

The DVD of this film, “Our Boys and Girls in the Armed Forces, 1943-44,” is available for purchase from the Louisville Historical Museum. Proceeds benefit the Louisville History Foundation.
