COVID-19 (coronavirus)  

Masks are no longer required in City of Louisville buildings, including the Louisville Historical Museum. Please note that Boulder County Public Health recommends that individuals age 2+ wear a mask when around others while Boulder County remains at a level of substantial or high transmission. 

First Friday: LGBTQ+ History in Boulder County Pop-up Exhibit

Stop by the Museum during our First Friday open house during Pride Month to learn about LGBTQ+ History in Boulder County. Come see a pop-up exhibit timeline of LGBTQ+ history in Boulder, make some buttons with local students, or just tour the Museum buildings at night. Boulder County has been the site of major moments in the history of LGBTQ+ rights in the US.  Some of these events have been local but also colorful and creative. Other local events have had far-reaching impacts, having literally changed the national picture for LGBTQ+ people and their rights.
