Meet Kat

Kat Muller is a Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist and Registered Thai Massage Therapist. Kat brings her 26 years of bodywork, knowledge of anatomy, her ability to "see with her hands & feet" the space in between the tissues and a grounded awareness from many years of martial arts training and meditation practice. Kat combines her yoga teaching background, an intuitive sense of seeing the "Living Anatomy" in each client and her compassion for helping others to live a joyous, pain free life in her sessions.

Thai Barefoot Massage:
This practice of Massage is where the therapist uses the feet and has a more ‘earthy’ quality than the ones done with the hands or other parts of the body. In general, more pressure can be applied with the soft, flat surface of the foot. Sometimes practitioners use a bars or a rope to keep their balance while ‘walking’ over the patient. A gentle rocking motion is used to separate the muscle tissue from the fascia and create more space for the tissues to move more freely. There is a soft, broad pressure applied when using the feet that allows for a deeper massage without feeling deep. Perfect for athletes and those with chronic pain from muscle tension!
