Afternoon of Cultural Dance

All ages; families

Join us for an afternoon of different dance classes and performers. Come for one class or performance, or stay for them all; we’d love to dance with you!

Schedule:

1-2 Jasmine Flower Dance: Jasmine Flower Dance is the largest Chinese dance school in Denver. Ms. Jing Xu from Jasmine Flower Dance will teach the opening dance of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics opening ceremony.

2-3 Indian dance with Deepali: This bonanza of Indian dances are pearls specially chosen and wove for you to give you the sense of how diverse and beautiful Indian melodies and movements are. Deepali is an Indian professional Dancer/Choreographer, Actor, Storyteller, and Art Producer.

3-4 Postoley Dance Ensemble is a performing ethnic dance company specializing in the culture, music, and dance of Ukraine and Poland. We will start with a short performance of a beautiful and poignant dance from Ukraine, then invite everyone to participate in fun dances from Ukraine and around the world.

4-5 Mokomba Ensemble Performance: Mokomba Ensemble is a traditional and contemporary West African drum and dance ensemble based in Boulder.
