First Friday Art Walk at the Library

Be sure to visit the Library during the First Friday Art Walk for live music, local art displays and sales, and children's crafts.

October's Art Walk will feature the Louisville Art Association's Sheila Fossen and Pat Scarlotti, with additional artists selling work at the event.

Children and families will enjoy making a Autumnal Glitter Wreath or Pony Bead Pumpkin.

Live music will be provided by Heather Murphy. Heather is a professional cello player and currently the director of orchestras at Centaurus High School and Meadowlark School. She holds a BA in Music Performance and Music Education from new Mexico State University, and an MA in Music Education from the University of Colorado. She has taught music for more than 20 years at area schools, including Eldorado K-8 and Angevine Middle School, and she strives to pass on the joy of music to all her students. Ms. Murphy has performed with the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra, the Doña Ana Lyric Opera, the New Mexico University Orchestra, and the University of Colorado Orchestra, and participated in the Takacs Chamber Music Program.
