550 S. McCaslin Blvd. Urban Renewal 

On September 1, 2015, the Louisville City Council approved an Urban Renewal Plan for 550 S. McCaslin Blvd. formerly the Louisville Sam's Club location.  The Sam's Club closed in January 2010 and has not been used as a retail property since.  The 13 acre parcel and 127,000 square foot building is a critical retail property for the McCaslin / Centennial Valley area.  The Urban Renewal Plan was approved to make tools available to address challenges found that impair the full utilization of the property.

Request for Proposals

The Louisville Revitalization Commission with the City of Louisville is seeking proposals for projects for 550 S. McCaslin Boulevard, the former Sam's Club property.  

The RFP was released in January, 2016 and proposals are due March 10, 2016.  Below are links downlad the RFP and other background documentation regarding the property.
