Parade route
The Labor Day Parade starts at the intersection of E. Lafayette St. and Main St. (the south end of the Louisville Middle School campus) and runs south down Main Street, ending at the intersection of Main St. and Parkview Ave.
The map (below) shows road closures in orange, and the parade route in red. The hard red lines represent barricades.
Road closures
To allow for a safe parade and Fall Festival, multiple roads near Main Street, Louisville Middle School, and Memory Square Park will be closed from 7 AM to 3 PM on Monday, September 2.
Parade registration opens Wednesday, May 1.
Applications due by 5 PM on Wednesday, August 21. Late or day-of entries will not be accepted. The number of parade entries may be limited depending on the number received. Get your application in soon as it's first come, first served.
Parade order and a reminder about Parade Participant FAQs and Safety Guidelines will be emailed to all parade registrants.
