- Location: Center for the Arts
801 Grant Avenue
Louisville, Colorado 80027
- Introduction: Slide show and discussion, presented by Sarin LoMascolo, Rocky Mountain National Park Ranger, environmental educator, Colorado native
Imagine the last time you stood in Rocky Mountain National Park. Our National Parks were created to protect the cultural and natural resources we value as Americans. As we look to the future, how will climate change impact America’s best idea? During this program participants will be asked to share their personal connections and contemplate their role in the preservation of our national parks. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of the effects of climate change and new ideas of how they can take action.
On April 5th, Rocky Mountain National Park Ranger, Sarin LoMascolo, will provide an engaging slide show and discussion on the future at RMNP, and the impact of climate change. Sarin works with the environmental education program at RMNP. A Colorado native, she holds a Masters degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. When she’s not teaching students, you can find Sarin skiing the nearest mountain.
Admission is free. The Louisville Center for the Arts is located at 801 Grant Avenue, at Memory Square Park in Louisville. This event is sponsored by the Louisville Cultural Council.
